Prevention Spotlight: Lipscomb University

This week's Prevention Spotlight is Lipscomb University. Below is a description of their Project Intersections activites. 

Lipscomb University Project DescriptionLipscomb University used the funding to create a new campaign entitled LipscombReady, which represents several offices across campus in encouraging students to be safe and prepared in their environment. This new branding is highlighting the prevention efforts and resources of our Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety, Counseling Center, Campus Security and Health Services offices.  ​In addition to creating a logo and promoting the campaign through social media,  we purchased several branded materials including cell phone power banks, laptop stickers, Sexual Misconduct wallet-sized information/resource cards and heart-shaped stress balls, which were handed out at our Valentine’s Day Healthy Relationships event and our screening of the documentary Roll, Red, Roll. The cell phone power banks have been especially popular with our students and will hopefully be an effective way for them to obtain help if they find themselves in an unsafe environment.​
